Consultation sales training review: “As much laughter as well as learning”

As Clinical director, Dr Okoye is passionate about teeth! Her aim is to create an environment where dentistry exceeds an individual’s expectations. To this end, she and her team have set about creating an experience far removed from the stereotypical view of dentists. A first-class service is paramount to this philosophy, and the team makes every effort to ensure treatments are as comfortable as possible, and that they take the time to be gentle.

Uchenna Okoye qualified at Guy’s Hospital and has vast experience in many different fields of dentistry. She has a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and one of an elite group with membership of both the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She lectures and works closely with Aesthetic dentists in the USA to ensure her clients have the best of all cutting edge techniques available. You may have seen her as a regular on Channel 4’s Ten Years Younger TV programme.

After working with Uchenna and London Smiling to build a patient referral scheme and training her staff on its implementation, she asked me to conduct a training session with her clinical staff that included several dentists, endodontists, orthodontists, hygienists and dental nurses. Here is what Uchenna had to say about the session:

I just wanted to say thank you very much for the training session on Friday, I am sorry I didn’t get a chance to talk to you properly before you left. There was as much laughter as well as learning which I thought was good.
