LiveseySolar giving exclusive Practice Development Workshop at the ZEISS ERLS in Amsterdam
The 2018 European Refractive Laser Surgery Symposium is upon us and this year we’re visiting sunny Amsterdam! As the exclusive practice development consultants invited by ZEISS for the second year running, we’ll be giving a practice development workshop to ZEISS staff on how to help their customers (refractive surgery clinics) grow their clinics. Like last year, we will also speak to surgeons in the main symposium on ‘5 Smart Strategies to Grow your Practice with Presbyopic Patients’.

For the past year, ZEISS has worked with us as healthcare marketing experts in Practice Development Consulting (PDC) for PRESBYOND. Together, we developed the PDC Recipe Book and are the sole distributors of this tool for supporting ZEISS PRESBYOND customers.
Rod Solar and Laura Livesey will provide refractive surgeons with a practice development workshop on how to grow laser refractive practices. They will be answering the following questions:
- What is Practice Development Consulting (PDC)?
- What can PDC do for refractive surgery practice?
- Which customers can most benefit from PDC?
- What are the PDC opportunities to look for?
- What PDC tactics to use?
- Where to find PDC help?
The PRESBYOND Market Opportunity
The main focus is the Presbyopia Market Opportunity and we are using the PRESBYOND treatment as an example of a presbyopic treatment that serves this market well.
PRESBYOND is a trade name for Laser Blended Vision, an advanced laser eye surgery technique for treating patients with age-related loss of accommodation (presbyopia), suitable for 97% of ageing eyes.
After working with clinics and patients choosing PRESBYOND for many years, we consider presbyopic patients to be the next big opportunity in the laser eye surgery market and advise ophthalmologists on how to market refractive surgery to presbyopes.
In cooperation with ZEISS, we have written a Practice Development Consulting “Recipe Book” entitled How to Grow Your Practice with Presbyopic Patients, which we officially launched at the APAC conference in Shanghai last month.
