Is this a bunch of sales tips or will you teach my team how to take action and make things happen?

Our sales training programme follows a proven method for improving the techniques of individual staff members and your team as a whole. We do not give tips. Tips might work in some cases, but selling is a highly variable activity where every situation is different and tips will not work in every case.

Discovering our sales process

Rather than offering tips, we provide a selling process. Sales processes are a linked set of tasks that are employed in order to generate a desired result. You can think of it as being like a successful recipe that will give a great end result if followed properly.

Using a definitive system has many benefits over trying to follow a bunch of related tips. Benefits of process include:

  • Enabling a team to work better together

  • Increasing confidence in the person carrying out the selling role

  • Enabling the sales person to take more control of the sales interaction

  • Helping team members to deal more effectively with a wider variety of people, objections and needs

  • Shortened sales cycle

  • Helps your sales team to loosen up and have more fun, instead of trying to memorise sales scripts or one-liners

  • Helps management and trainers identify and fix problems in a sales transaction

  • Ultimately increases conversion rates and sales.

Most importantly, a sales process is a clear, easy to follow set of steps that can be applied in the real world. Sales tips can be quite abstract, which makes them harder to learn and harder to use. Tips are inconsistent so they may work well on some occasions and not on others. Tips also lack effectiveness when compared to more concrete methods of improving sales technique.

A sales process, just like a recipe, will become easier and the sales person will become more skilled at the process every time they complete it. This enables sales staff to become highly proficient in their jobs, which in turn increases motivation and performance.
